MK G (unleashed) – A REVIEW

It was Thursday, 13th October 2005, and Milton Keynes Gallery was aLIVE with music and animation from Meechy's home-grown, MK Creates Award-Winning “The Pilots of Reece (deceased)” online animated series.

The large crowd at this M-O-N-O organised event, was an unusual mix of skate-kids, music-lovers, arts-buffs, local-media, and even some MK-Big-Decision-Makers-In-Suits that were enticed over from a meeting about 'the future of MK' in the next-door Theatre, to this audacious audio/visual insight into a version of MK's 'future' that is most often hidden from their view. The bands performed their contributions to the TpoR(d) soundtrack LIVE while it's respective animation zoomed over the walls around them. What further added to the atmosphere was the fact that it was also an untested experiment into pushing the use-boundaries of MK G's Long Gallery; the audience sensed this with the delight of people that knew not what to expect, and responded with enthusiastic applause.
